PATROL OFFICERS Our patrol officers are the most recognizable of all our members. They are in the train stations, riding with passengers onboard trains and responsible for patrolling the tracks along the right of way throughout the country.	K-9 TEAMS K-9 Teams can be found throughout the country adding a layer of protection that Amtrak's passengers truly appreciate.	SPECIAL AGENTS Special Agents are assigned to the Special Operations Unit. They specialize in Intelligence gathering and handle high-risk tactical response incidents for the Amtrak Police Department.
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICERS Communications Officers work out of Amtrak Police's National Communications Center and are responsible for receiving voice calls and texts from the community and dispatching officers in the field.	SECURITY OFFICERS Security Officers control access to Amtrak facilities along with having the responsibility of protecting the corporations' assets.
